Biography:
Junhui Hu received his Ph.D. Degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1997, and B. E. and M. E. degrees in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University, China, in 1986 and 1989, respectively. Currently he works for Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics, China, as a full professor. He is a Chang-Jiang Distinguished Professor, China, and an IAAM Fellow. He was an assistant and associate professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from 2001 to 2010, and an R&D engineer at Tokin, Japan, from 1997 to 1999. He authored and co-authored more than 300 publications, including more than 100 full research papers published in SCI journals, two books, 1 editorial review in an international journal and more than 60 disclosed/empowered China and Japan patents. He was awarded the title of Valued Reviewer by Sensors and Actuators A: Physical and by Ultrasonics, and had won the Paper Prize from the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (Japan) as the first author in 1998. Presently, he is an editorial board member of four international journals, board member of Chinese Acoustical Society and member of its academic work committee, and deputy director of expert committees on electronic information materials and devices, and on aerospace materials, Chinese national think tank for materials and devices.
Prof. Karamanis Dimitrios, Department of Environmental Engineering, University of Patras, Greece.
Biography:
Professor of Alternative Energy Sources at the Department of Environmental Engineering of the University of Patras. He studied Physics at the University of Ioannina (1986-1990) where he submitted his doctoral thesis (1990-1997). With Postdoctoral Fellowships at CEN Bordeaux (Marie Curie 1999-2001) and at the University of Ioannina (Marie Curie 2001-2002 and until 2008), Prof. Karamanis has thirty years of research experience in the fields of alternative energy sources with special emphasis on wind and solar energy utilization technologies in the last decade. Participating in competitive National and International research programs as scientific coordinator and researcher, he has published over 110 scientific papers in scientific journals, patents and chapters in books with >3000 citations and h-index 35 (Scopus). Prof. Karamanis teaches courses on renewable energy sources, energy efficiency and RES applications in Departments of the Universities of Ioannina and Patras since 2006.
Prof. Dr. Osman Adiguzel, Firat University, Elazig,Turkey
Biography:
Prof. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has been retired due to the age limit of 67, following academic life of 45 years.He published over 80 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 120 conferences and symposia in international and national level as Plenary Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Invited speaker, speaker or Poster presenter. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last six years (2014 - 2019) over 60 conferences as Speaker, Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by different companies in different countries.
